Mother, son missing from Citrus Heights found safe
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA - A boy and his mother missing from their Citrus Heights home for four days were found safe in Reno on Thursday, Citrus Heights police said.
Justice Terrence Seiler, 7, and his mother Danielle Virginia Lake, 41, were last seen on Sunday, Citrus Heights police Sgt. Eric Mattke said.
An officer who chose to remain anonymous said Lake went to Reno police on Thursday when she learned they had been reported missing.
According to Matke, officers were checking on Seiler's welfare when they discovered he and Lake were missing.
