Pick-up truck smashes into Citrus Heights Sears
News

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA - Customers of the Sears store in Sunrise Mall will have to use a different entrance for the time being as the store's front entrance is off-limits due to a pick-up truck crashing into it Thursday morning.

The elderly driver, a man, drove into the front of the store at 5900 Sunrise Mall about 10:12 a.m., according to Citrus Heights police Sgt. Jason Russo. A person inside of the store was bumped in the crash and went to a local hospital to be checked out, Russo said.

The driver wasn't hurt. It didn't appear alcohol was involved, Russo said, and the driver will not be charged.
