Train hits, kills pedestrian in North Highlands | News
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Union Pacific train in North Highlands Wednesday morning, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's dispatchers said they received a call of a person struck by a train on the 4200 block of Longview Drive just before 7 a.m.
The person, whose identity was withheld, was killed in the incident.
