House fire displaces Rio Linda family | News
RIO LINDA, CA - A Rio Linda family is dealing with the loss of their home and cat after a fire Friday morning.
The residents and their dogs escaped from the home on the 6200 block of 22nd Street, according to the Sacramento Metro Fire District.
The flames knocked down a nearby power line, adding to the danger.
Sac Metro said it had a crew nearby so was able to respond quickly.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
