NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA - The Twin Rivers District Police Department on Friday issued a response to Thursday's scathing grand jury report.

The district says it has taken a number of measures to address the grand jury's general findings of highly questionable police leadership, unaccountability, and over-zealousness.
The police district's response is preliminary to the formal response expected in 90 days to the grand jury report.
The Twin Rivers police department serves the Twin Rivers Unified School District.
