CHP detain woman, man after Antelope pursuit | Crime

SACRAMENTO - California Highway Patrol officers detained a woman and man in the Antelope area following a pursuit and search Wednesday morning.

According to Officer Moss of the CHP, officers attempted to pull over the pair's vehicle shortly before 6:50 a.m. and they sped off.  Following a five-minute pursuit into Antelope, the man and woman abandoned the car under the Antelope Road overpass and fled on foot in the area of Antelope Road and Roseville Road.

One of the individuals, a woman, was quickly apprehended.

The man was found and detained 7:45 a.m.

CHP dispatch did not have any information on why officers attempted to perform the initial traffic stop.
