Fan's being taken advantage of

I have long been a fan of Katie McGarry books and I enjoy her characters...but this latest attempt is not so nice. To read this fan favorite of Abby and Logan, I have to buy her other NEW book series and when this book comes out I can get both books. Well looking on amazon it varies from 11-14 dollars for an e book or book. Then Abby's book goes back in the vault .

Dog'gone Good Fun Day in the Park Tomorrow at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights

Every year Sierra Pacific Great Pyrenees Club (rescue) puts on an annual event called "Dog'gone Good Fun Day at the Park". It's open to the public and we invite all spayed/neutered, mixed bred dogs and purebreds to come and play in the park and have a "dog'gone good fun day in the park".  The event is Sunday, March 29th at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights.

Obedience, rally and canine good citizenship tests are in the morning with raffles and doggie diva costume contests at lunch around noon.  There are food concessions and raffles...you can even buy your doggies a new collar or costume, if you didn't bring one with you.  Ladies have been busy baking and will offer "feel good food" for sale.

Man arrested in murder of Citrus Heights woman

A man has been arrested and booked into custody in the violent death of a woman overnight in Citrus Heights.

Citrus Heights police Sgt. Michael Wells said officers were dispatched to the 7500 block of Cook Avenue at 1:43 a.m. Thursday in response to a report about an assault. Arriving officers found a woman who was severely injured. Wells said she was transported to a local hospital but did not survive.

Investigating detectives identified a person potentially responsible for the attack who was known to the victim, Wells said.

At 2:56 a.m., Wells said dispatchers received a call from that person, saying he wanted to surrender. Officers went to the man's location and arrested him. He was identified as William Patrick Hendrickson.

Wells said the identity of the victim would be released by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office.
